Last year, Tim Wise wrote in the Washington Post that the Dem nominee's campaign only needed to say "Trump is a racist, and you don't want to be one, too." Wise's op-ed was based on his experience running a campaign in Louisiana against David Duke. He says you don't beat a racist and insane person on the issues.
I've been researching a YA novel that has a white nationalist element - particularly how they are using gaming platforms to recruit vulnerable teens (especially young men). The more research I do, the more I realize how it's similar to what I found when I wrote a novel about a girl who gets involved with an internet predator. It's essentially grooming. The other day I watched a documentary by Deeya Kahn https://deeyah.com/blog/white-right-meeting-enemy/ and it's really made me rethink how to talk to people. I wish Biden's people would watch it to help frame their messaging.
I disagree. I think he needs to make sense and use this opportunity to point out how the Republicans have hurt their own constituencies (other than the uber wealthy, who as usual are doing just fine). Democrats have to get a whole lot better at framing issues.
Agree. We cannot be complacent. Trump’s approval rating is still at 43%. With the republican strategy of voter suppression and the electoral college, Trump could lose the popular vote by even more than the 3% in 2016, and still win. And, we must flip the senate blue to get anywhere.
With this clown show coming from the White House, all Biden needs to do is have a functional heartbeat and be able to fog a mirror. His message could be as simple as "Vote for a Human Instead of a Wraith".

Nor does he really need lotsa money! Just as many voters as can.
