I prefer realism. Hope results in no blue wave, McConnell continuing to control he Senate, the GOP getting even more control of state houses and the ability to draw district lines, and the winner of the Presidency coming down to a coin flip.
Who's gonna arrest the Pretendsident for attempting to subvert a federal election? I'm not talking about the recount demands nor the lawsuits (that's just bog standard politics). I'm talking about his press conferences, speeches and tweets calling on all his minions to converge on the vote counting sites, disrupt and potentially obliterate them.
We need improved education in the U.S., especially in civics, so that we don't see this sort of ignorant nonsense. As long as people think this sort of thing is possible, they won't understand what is actually required in order to deal with Trump's behavior.
