War is always mass murder and mass terrorism. America and other countries of western "Civilization" have glorified war and therefore murder and terrorism. We talk about and write about justified war and I'm not smart enough to rule out the possibility of war being justified, but when do you remember any country, or group of treasonous states or colonies actually figuring out that their particular war is justified before actually going to war against their so called enemies? I'm just asking. Many people say dropping the atomic bombs on Japan "was" justified because of the American lives that were saved. But, I ask you, what about the Japanese lives that were lost or forever changed?

Whatever Saint Augustine of Hippo meant by justified war I don't know but I'm sure he was not writing about the kinds of war the world has seen since the invention of gunpowder. "War is not (in my view NEVER) the answer."
