This is one of your most powerful commentaries about what we're dealing with regarding right-wing evangelicals. Friends of mine and I think they are massively narcissistic because they see themselves as God's "cool kids". That gives them the right to judge, dismiss, and even kill others via direct action or neglect while claiming total victimhood via persecution simply because the rest of America refuses to be enslaved by them.

I will differ with your assessment in one way however. They haven't won the war on Christmas; they have won the war on Christ. They embody EVERYTHING that Christ challenged and rejected. I sometimes wonder that if Christ showed up today and confronted them, he'd shake his head and walk away from them while weeping in pain and anguish. They are today's Pharisees. And I'm sure they'd gleefully crucify him again while claiming they are doing so in the name of God.

I'd say that WEPs show no empathy because the object of their worship is a man who has no empathy, namely Trump. They have renamed Trump and now call him Christ. Instead of loving all people, even enemies, they complain when people celebrate Christ's birth or don't celebrate it instead of Trump's birth. If you think this is confusing, welcome to community. I'll say no more. John, you've said it so well as does realsaramerica.

Happy holidays to everyone, even to WEPs

If your faith considers Donald Trump part of "The Divine Plan" you need to seriously reconsider its teachings.
