I feel Manchin is doing an effective form of ropadope. You don't hold elected office that long without learning how to play the media and he seems to be doing it effectively. If only Murkowski signs on, he still gets to say it's a bipartisan bill. He looks like a kingmaker, both of them will be cooed over as being bold truthtellers who put country over party.
