Also...Schumer's leadership is tenuous to say the least... LEahy, who is 80, hospitalized and the Gov of vermont in a GOP...just saying... one does not need to play chess to see the senate flipping back rather easily and soon.

These damn ancient Senators need to know when to step down. Feinstein in particular. She's ancient and having watched CA politics closely for years it will soon become clear that Gavin Newsom on track to lose re-election. His handling of the pandemic went from great to idiotic....this means on Diane Feinstein's unwillingness to let go could be a huge problem if she dies or gets sick before 2024.

Agree with the points on Schumer, however the facts do not support the adulation which Pelosi receives in the Democratic party. Pelosi was high on symbolic gestures (throwing shade) but practically speaking allowed the trump regime to leverage trillions of $$s of stimulus spend to use as they saw fit. They saw fit to shower those $$ on their constituents (red states, white rural parts of the country, high net worth individuals...) which resulted in a republican sweep across the states, losing many winnable senate races and almost losing the house - while also seeing devastated communities in blue places (like most cities).

The polls always showed trump winning on the economy - but it wasn't about GDP growth, it was about the money people were seeing on their bank account. That almost cost us our democracy.
