I saw someone ask this question and it has haunted me since; has Trump been calling senior military leaders putting the same pressure on them to be loyal to him....or else? If he did that or had one of his underlings doing it, prison time would be the kindest punishment.

I know Biden wants to stay away from prosecuting trump— but things like this phone call or if he pardoned himself are the obvious results of let sleeping dogs lie. He will use his power base to further radicalize the GOP ( as well as separate them from objective reality ) and push them towards violence. He clearly will not rest until he has either won or burned country to the ground— and far too many will still try to ride his coattails to personal power. Jail seems one of few curatives available.

Tr$mp was a criminal before he was ever elected and he's just gotten even more so in the last 4 years. He should be tried and convicted and sentenced to solitary confinement for the duration of his imprisonment which ought to be the rest of his life and without access to visitors including lawyers and no cell phone or computer. And as you suggest he cannot pardon himself even though he thinks he's the king of the universe and a sizable portion of his supporters think of this as a religious dogma.
