The first problem is that the Democrat-liberal-progressive contingent doesn't have a broadcast network to spit out lies for them. MSNBC and any other liberal-leaning media can't counteract the weight of those lies by doing the opposite--not lying--so everything "our side" does is scrutinized and/or twisted and then many liberals pile on too because they want dramatic change (fair enough after 400 years of racism) and they want it now, starting another cycle of the "cancel culture," BLM is coming after you (Carlson) narrative. With that backdrop, I don't know what you mean in your 2nd-to-last paragraph: "My point here is not that Will, Hume, Lesko and others are wrong. They are entitled to that. So are Biden and Harris." Are you saying Biden and Harris are wrong? WTF. We not only hate "our" country, but ourselves, too?

I meant Biden and Harris are entitled to being wrong. I don't think they are, though.

I can't edit my previous comment, but I take back the WTF and last sentence.

I think fox news believers are one of America's biggest problems because like the former president fox is dedicated to lying. As for G Will he seems as though he wants to be s 21st century Samuel Johnson. Also what does "love of America" mean? If it's nothing but sentimentality, I think that is not patriotism. In my view that's like feeling sexual intercourse and love are the same thing. It's what leads to things like hugging the American flag.

I get what you mean by sentimentality but it doesn't have to be as shallow as flag hugging. It can have a fuller meaning, which I think can be called patriotism.
