I tweeted to you on this a few minutes ago, but I remain curious... what of the perception that Sanders brought out Latino voters in CA and TX? I haven't seen post-hoc polling data to confirm or deny, but it seems interesting and potentially important, both as a harbinger of November, and as a place where Sanders' campaign has had a real impact.
First, I want to say I'm glad you're feeling better. Remember to always take care of yourself.
Second, I so appreciate your columns, and this one is no exception. We ALWAYS center election projections and punditry and pontification on WHITE voters, and it's exhausting. I always vote where I see the Black Democrats going, and it's never once steered me wrong. I think the thing I hate the most to come out of both this election and 2016 has been this erasure of Black voters by the Sanders campaign and his followers. To them, "working class" clearly means "white working class." But on top of that, they also claim that Sanders has a lock on the working class, when in fact--he doesn't! As you mention with Biden last night, didn't the majority of the white working class also vote for Hillary??
Anyway, just wanted to say I appreciate you and your columns and thank you for everything you do. As someone who struggles with depression, I'm sending good vibes your way.
